Design Review

The Design Review Committee helps maintain the visual integrity of Cadence by overseeing and enforcing design guidelines that protect both the community's appearance and your property value.
 
Before starting any exterior modification to your home, you are required to submit a Design Review Application and receive written approval from the committee.
 
Examples of projects that require prior approval include:
  • Landscaping
  • Security cameras
  • Play or sports equipment
  • Pools and spas
  • Solar panels
  • Patio covers and shade structures

Timeframe
Once a completed application is received, the Committee has up to 30 days to review and approve or deny it. 
 
An application is considered COMPLETED once we have ALL of the following:
  • Application
  • Application Fee
  • Completed Checklist
  • Missing Information (Any missing information will be emailed to you)
  • Drawings, Plans, Photos with specific information showing project
  • Completed Neighbor Impact Form (if applicable - see project checklist)
  • Sub Association Approval Letter if applicable (Heritage Residents only)
You will receive emails throughout the submittal process, including:
 
Initial receipt
  • Missing Information (if applicable)
  • Confirmation Application is Ready for Committee Review
  • Outcome of Committee Review (Approval/Denial or Additional Questions)
STATUS UPDATES - Our office is unable to provide any information on the status of an application unless it has been more than 30 days since the initial receipt of a completed application.
